This Privacy Policy explains how the Twende Mbele Secretariat ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information collected through twendembele.org and any services connected to it. WHAT WE COLLECT - Contact form and Get-Involved form submissions: name, email, organisation, country, subject and message. - Newsletter subscriptions: email address and optional name and country. - Server logs: anonymised IP, timestamp, browser type and the pages visited, for security and analytics. HOW WE USE INFORMATION - To respond to enquiries and partnership requests. - To send the Pamoja newsletter and partnership announcements (only if you have subscribed). - To improve the website and the relevance of the resources we publish. LEGAL BASIS We rely on your consent for newsletter communications, and on legitimate interest for responding to direct enquiries and improving the site. SHARING We do not sell personal information. We may share information with our hosting provider (Mailgun, the University of the Witwatersrand) only to operate the website and send emails on our behalf. We may share information with partner governments when this is essential to respond to a partnership enquiry. RETENTION Form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, and at most for two years. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter.
